A Day Worth Recording

Mudless?!

backblip.

Escaping from the rot for a bit we've tickets for the Bromyard folk festival. This used to be a regular for the ex-university circle of folkies. The other regular feature was swamp-like conditions. It's been a long time, and it seems they've fixed the weather. That's rather nice.

A mix of some newly formed good bands, and some that used to be good but have now tried to get clever.

I particularly enjoyed Roisin Ban, The Drystones, and Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman. Steve Lacey of Roisin Ban is the banjo player in the session above.

It was good to dance to Whapweasel too.
