Downy Woodpecker

I have tried all summer to get a hummingbird but now I have not seen any for about a week and suspect they have migrated south. I will have to wait until spring.

This is a female Downy Woodpecker, a frequent visitor to our backyard suet feeder. She has a little bit of her dinner on her beak.
