The Fly

Hot on the heels of yesterday's spider comes this charming creature. Try it LARGE.

It was sunny in the garden first thing so I wandered round with my camera (as you do) and found this fly catching some rays.

Obligingly it kept very still for a couple of minutes - and eventually I got one in focus - such a shallow depth of field when this close, it is difficult to stop camera swaying back and forth!

To get a decent shot on a tripod is going to take some perseverance I can see.

It is quite a severe crop from full frame - it wasn't that big!
