Autumn Acer
It's the first day of Autumn today, so it had to be a blip of the deep reds of an acer in the garden.
Alexander spent another day here but Grampy was sleeping off a night shift, so the two of us cleaned the inside of my car (the one I didn't recognise yesterday in a car park!) We had intentions of taking Alexander to the park at Buscot but it was far too late once he'd had his afternoon nap.
Mr E and I had another successful fire pit evening after dinner. I had a good measure of home made sloe gin from last year, which went down a treat. The only problem with this open fire building, is that everything smells of smoke. It really does get into the curtains etc, even when doors and windows are kept closed.
