Black Swan Family

We have had a gloriously warm sunny spring day. I visited the Taylor Dam this morning and was busy photographing one of the weeping willows growing at the edge of the water. I was absolutely distracted by a mother swan and her babies. They swam around the corner and into the mucky, murky waters at the very edge of the lake. No doubt it was a great place for foraging food. They pottered around for a few minutes and then headed out of sight of my camera into the open waters of the lake.
