Neighbours

I took a walk round the orchard to try to get a decent shot of the wrens I saw on the reeds in our eco-sewage treatment plant. I didn't see the wrens again although I saw a small well camouflaged bird creeping up a larch and some greenfinch. Down in the small valley where I hadn't been for a while all was pleasantly wild and I was surprised by this large pile of sand. It looks like neighbours have built a house and moved in without saying anything. I wonder who they are? There were some decidedly non-rabbit footprints in the sand.
