Autumn in the air

We drove to Keflavík when my husband had finished work. It takes about 5,5 - 6 hours to get there, driving on a legal speed. We stopped in Borgarnes for dinner, at a restaurant by the sea. The view was lovely but we were a little disappointed with the food. It was OK but nothing more. We are probably a little spoiled when it comes to dining out as my husband makes such a good food, but one expects a little extra when buying food at restaurants that should have higher standards than the typical Iclandic fast food diners by the road.
Well well, the main thing is that the trip was nice. The weather was quite alright, sure it rained heavily from time to time, but only showers. I really don't like driving long distances in heavy rain and wind, so I was very happy with the relatively short showers.
