Lacock

After a breakfast at Whitehall's Garden Centre I went for a wander around Lacock Abbey's grounds. Cyclamen were already out under some of the trees, as were some crocuses. As usual my tour involved keeping an eye out for the abbey cat, The Abbess, but she was absent once more. This was my favourite shot of the morning.

Jolie Holland - The Love You Save (2014)
Although a Texan, Jolie Holland was a founder member of the Canadian band the Be Good Tanyas. She'd left before they made their first album but did play on several tracks on that and some of their subsequent albums. Her own music is more of a melting pot of deep Southern soul, roots, hillbilly, Americana and country, and is mostly original material, but this is a revival of a song by fellow Texan Joe Tex.
