An ordinary life....

Indian Summer...

backblip

Despite the sunshine and unseasonably high temperatures, the signs of Autumn are all around us. Today has been the greyest day for over a week and it feels right as we all come down from the excitement of the last week. I'm just so pleased the weather behaved itself over the weekend.

So much going on in our wee town as, after years of planning and preparation, the Ryder Cup circus finally rolled into town. Less than a week later and it's all over, bar the endless repeats of it on Sky Sports.

We were all glad of the lie in this morning. After a late brunch, Kenny and David headed off to play golf. If they were hoping to replicate some of winning shots from the weekend then they were sorely disappointed! :-))

Ele and I stayed at home drinking coffee and eating cake whilst searching the internet for a holiday house in France for next summer. Not easy to find what you're looking for when you have a family member who uses a wheelchair. We did find a beauty but it's slightly further south than we would have liked (we drive from Zeebrugge) so need to have a think and decide if we want to have an 8-10 hour drive when we get off the ferry.

Ele and Kenny headed off late afternoon and we had an easy dinner then it was feet up and telly watching. The Ryder Cup highlights. Again. *rolls eyes*

:)
