Newcastle Downunder

Calm at last light

It's been planes trains and automobiles this weekend. Planes yesterday, steam trains today and the hill climb race through King Edward Park We also had the Blessing of the Animals service at Newcastle Cathedral this weekend which is always a hoot. The dogs really prefer the aisles, the chooks are always trying to get away and the cats are above it all, as always. No donkeys, snakes or horses this year. The dogs joined in singing hymns too.

And so for a few minutes peace after the service I went back to the Canoe pool to see if the seas were still up. They were much more settled and it really was glorious in the last light.

I must apologise for poor commenting but I have a house guest at the moment and not much time at the computer.
