Tonbridge: Feeding Tamelife

More touching a moment in large ("L").
Back blip

I spent the day in Tonbridge yesterday: it rained for most of the afternoon, but I. and I bought monkey nuts and fed/photographed the squirrels and pigeons by Tonbridge Castle which was such fun. They're not nearly as tame as many of the squirrels and pigeons in London, but they became accustomed to us and started to become more bold with time.

In the early evening we went to a concert arranged by Tonbridge Music Club given by La Serenissima entitled "Great baroque composers in the life of Johann Georg Pisendel"; it featured a varied programme of baroque music (including works by Vivaldi, Bach, Telemann, and Pisendel) and was all well performed by the ensemble led by the very virtuosic director and violinist Adrian Chandler.

Other shots (mostly the squirrel and pigeon feeding, including some amusing sequences) from Tonbridge are right from the Castle Gatehouse.
Highlights:
