The Edge of the Wold

Lightshow

There was a spectacular end to a day that began with grey skies and pouring rain. Gus and I walked up Arnside Knott instead of the more regular walk along the estuary. It was a good choice to get this view over the Kent channel crossing the reflecting mudflats of the estuary, and across Kent's Bank to the Furness peninsula. Our timing was unusually impeccable, shortly after this the sun was swallowed by the thickening cloud.

I shall probably have a few days off blipping after today (though I will try and fill the backblip gaps for the week we were away). I need to try and get this virus out of my system which will mean a few very early nights. Thanks for bearing with me!
