Bubba Time

We went roung to Esther's place this morning and Miles wanted a second breakfast before we walked into Reading and went to the shops (Gina and Grandma wanted to get some clothes for Miles). Bubba was happy to help out with some toast!

After buying the full children's clothing range in every shop they walked into, we went to Jamie's Italian for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!
Miles got a bit restless at one point and went for a 'walk' with Bubba. After about 10 minutes I looked out of the window and saw him buying tickets to go on the roundabout kombis! He, of course, thought he was going to get away with it. Rumbled! :)

Unfortunately Gina had taken the role of being a lot more unwell today and she battled on through, bless her.

We were just finishing up when our great friend Ellie and her boyfriend John arrived from Bristol - we'd worked out that this was going to be the only opportunity to see them during our trip, so they'd graciously agreed to jump on a train.

We had a great (if far, far too brief) a catch up over a couple of beers, then the lurgy took over and we set off back to the hotel for a bed.
