Charismatic Currawong

Bolder and Bolder. That's what I sense. This beautiful Grey Currawong wasn't a bit perturbed by me poking a camera lens at him this morning. He had decided to have an early morning bath in the Billabong. You might be surprised at how powerful their beak is.

What a lovely afternoon we had today. Cymbeline, Deidre (Cymbeline's Mum) and her friend Mark called in to Wombat Hollow. I had promised Cymbeline that if she arrived late afternoon there would be every chance that the Gang Gangs would be coming by for their regular evening "Happy Hour" at the water bowls.

It was just a delightful interlude and it was so wonderful to meet Deidre and Mark. Fortunately for me the Gang Gangs made a grand entrance at about 6.15pm.....Phew!!
All in all it was just a very enjoyable afternoon. Here's to many more!
