Another one bites the dust?

There's something odd about Penrith. I think it has more assorted eateries and drinkeries per head of population than, possibly, any other town in the land which is not a seaside resort.
I keep promising myself I'll count them "one day", though I doubt they'll stand still long enough.
This one opened in "The New Squares" part of town, which itself was built during the recession nobody new about, stood derelict for yonks after the builders crashed and is still vastly more empty than full. We did use it a couple of times, but it wasn't situated in a sensible place for our use without detouring. It looks as if everything has gone except tables, chairs and cabinets.
