Competitors in the Weymouth Beach Race

Tension mounts as the motocross riders wait for the start of the races.


This annual event (organised and run by the Purbeck Motocross club) is held on Weymouth sands. Its proceeds go to local charities.

Competitors this year ranged from 16 to 68 years old; one keen competitor had flown from Abu Dhabi in order to take part!
