Clouds

After a more than a month of flawless blue skies in California and monotone grey skies in Washington, it is good to get back to variable skies of Mexico - at least during the rainy season. The weather this time of year can go from clear as a bell to pouring down rain in the blink of an eye. Just the other night in the space of one volleyball game it went from slightly overcast to raining and blowing so hard they had to cancel the match. I wanted to get photos, but was afraid to break out my camera in such inclement weather. Tonight we didn't have any rain, but the clouds that built up right before sunset did look threatening. In less than a month they will all be gone and Zihuatanejo will return to the land of perpetual sunshine until the next rainy season starts.
