A Rose

Today didn't seem to be a day for going out, it's been throwing it down all morning. Although it seems to have stopped now, it doesn't seem particularly appealing out there. I've been keeping an eye on some roses that have been developing so popped out to see what's there. Sadly, they seem to have been spoilt by the rain unless of course I stick the lens in close and avoid the outer petals. That's what I did and with some soft light from the conservatory, I thought it made quite a nice intimate shot.

Heaven knows whether the weather will get any better this week, it doesn't look all that good on the forecast, but never mind. We get what we get and have to do our best with it, don't we.
