A Day Worth Recording

Farside

You've often seen one side of British Camp iron age fort in these blips. Today we cheated and drove to the other side and walked for a bit there.

Didn't really have the time given the various jobs to be done, but the argument was that not doing jobs all the time was the point of being here.

Ventured into the loft this morning. Somewhere there was a leak in the roof that was manifesting itself as bubbling plasterboard on the bedroom ceiling.

Curious roof. Originally the square of the main house had a 4-way valley in the centre. This was, at some point, converted to being a flat roof. However, the original centre roof is still there, still with slates on, like some gigantic funnel mid-loft.

Found where the leak was, and Rod came out and pinned down the source from the outside and fixed it.

Given the carp weather the following day that 's a Good Thing.
