Chaffinch

The birds had finished the sunflower seeds so I went out early this morning while the sun was shining and filled it up. A flock of about 20 goldfinches flew off from one of the trees. Lots of blackbirds have arrived and are busy feasting on the rowan berries and some red berries in the bushes which I must look up as not sure what they are.
We have a couple of wrens that are always in the garden as well as the robins , dunnocks and of course chaffinches. This one posed nicely while waiting for a space on the feeder.

It was a dry day with sunny spells and I managed to treat the top decking and the board walk before the change in the weather.

Also made it to the bottom of the wash bin. Helps that Richard is away in Florida and Mikes away too. Spoke to Richard via Skype this morning and he's having a great time with Ashlene and her family.
