as we came - face-to-face - with each other - in a rather startling surprise - perhaps it was the sun - shielding each of us - from the other - until at the very - last minute we realized - we were only about - 20 feet apart - but i did some gentle murmuring - she seemed to be - very calm with me - simply glancing up - to make certain - i wouldn't encroach any further - on her territory - which i wasn't about - to do - i remained where i was - enjoying her company - speaking quietly to her

with the sun doing its glow-y thing - behind her - knowing these kinds of moments - only come around - every so often - i was prepared to soak it up - delight in it - and, by all means - was going to make it...
