The Market Hall

This is the newest landmark building in Rotterdam. It's a horseshoe structure with apartments that covers an indoor market.

The both ends of the 'tunnel' are made of glass and the inside of the arcade are completely painted with colorful murals.

There seems to be a new law that outdoor markets are not allowed anymore, so maybe this it the first of many similar structures to rise soon?

As it's already opened, but they are still building the finishing touch there's a lot of annoying trucks and cranes surrounding the building, so I'll go back someday to make a picture form another angle that was not possible today.
