Autumn Colours at Balmoral

Today was the fourth event of the Race the Castles orienteering festival. It was held at Balmoral in the woods just south of the castle. The terrain was typical Deeside; very rough and steep and times were long. Afterwards we went for a walk in the grounds, and this blip is of trees near the Dee just west of the castle. It was also the first day of the Senior Home Internationals and Scotland led at the end of the day from England.
