Olympic Park. - Where else?

Took the grandchildren to the Olympic Park today.

It was a lovely day and the Park more than lived up to our expectations.

Couldn't help thinking about the aerial photos of what the whole site was like before we were awarded the Olympics. A desolation of broken down factories and warehouses. One cannot but help be impressed by the drive and imagination of the architects, engineers and landscapers who turned it into what it is today. And it has revitalised the whole area.
