Terminals

There is a high volume of shipping traffic in the Forth.
Summertime sees a regular stream of cruise ships.
Recently the Replacement Forth Crossing (new bridge) has generated more marine traffic.
The regular destinations of tankers are Grangemouth (chemical), Hound Point (oil) and Braefoot Bay (gas).

In the foreground of this blip is Braefoot Bay where the gas tanker 'Antwerpen' has just left for Antwerp.
On the opposite side of the Forth, you can see the oil terminal of Hound Point where an unknown tanker is berthed (it isn't showing up on either ShipAIS or MarineTraffic).

I had been hoping for extensive sunset colours tonight but it was confined to the localised area where the sun disappeared and was only really captured in telephoto shots.
