Sounds good to me

My tv went kaput last week, but we happened to have a spare 42" tv in the panic room (doesn't everyone?) so we were able to swap.

However, the sound on the new/old tv isn't very good, we decided this is because they are under the frame of the tv, rather than at the side.

Seemingly, it's a problem with a lot of the newer, thinner TVs; though the pictures are getting sharper, sound is being compromised.

Quite a few of the forums I looked at recommended use of a soundbar, to optimise sound, so tonight we had a trip to Currys to see what was on offer.

Mr A decided which one we should buy, and expertly connected it once we got home (Currys charge £70 for that!!!!!)

The sound is much better now and we can also link our music players via Bluetooth.

Of course, no sound check would be complete (in Mr A's book) without a bit of Bon Jovi. As his assistant, I had to double check it was ok with a bit of The Killers...namely Mr Brightside!

Tests concluded....soundbar approved :-)
