Remember, remember

the 5th of November, Gunpowder, treason and plot!

As I type there are flashes and bangs going in outside with traditional fireworks on this cold November night. We have just walked home from the pub and the smell in the air of gunpowder is unmistakable.

My blip today isn't about that though. We have been into Leeds and the light filtering through these poppies on the gates of the Trinity centre caught my eye and remind us of the the other need to Remember in November.

We did a bit of his and hers shopping; me in M&S and Chris in Clas Ohlson (tools and things!) after lunch in Trinity Kitchen and then we went to the Grand Theatre.
I had heard so much about One Man, Two Governors and missed it in the summer when it was at the Alhambra in Bradford.
An offer of cheap tickets on the Internet made the decision for us to come today and we were not disappointed. A very funny show.

A good day out all round with yet more sun but very cold now. Frost on the cars we passed tonight! Brrr!
