Night rowing

I spent pretty much the whole of the day preparing for a talk I'm giving next week. It took a bit longer than I expected because I still haven't got around to re-doing the key-words on some of the images where it was lost during the spring computer upgrade and I also needed to find and scan a few old slides dating back to the early 1990's.

Having missed all the daylight I grabbed my tripod and headed down to the Rowing Lake to catch the moonlight - not quite full but it's likely to be cloudy tomorrow. I wasn't alone - at least a couple of rowers were out on the lake - this one has left a trail of red dots from its lights - although the long exposure has rendered the rower invisible!
