ANZAC bridge Sydney

This is an early morning view looking south west from our motel room, there is some glare and reflection in the window unfortunately but I rather like the soft look of the Harbour in the morning.

In the background is the ANZAC Bridge completed in 1995-6 for $170,000,000. It is 805 m long linking Pyrmont with Glebe Island in inner Sydney. It is also a memorial for the ANZAC troops who fought in World War 1. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and there are flags from both Nations flying and statues of the soldiers ( diggers) at either end of the bridge.

Today we attended Miss Os ballet class before meeting our son for brunch, then drove home. Honestly ...people in Sydney must spend a lot of their life in traffic or looking for a car park.
