Look Out

Grey

Bit of a shopping day, I thought my blip was likely to be of JL at Cheadle. But returning home the sky was very grey, and I thought these seed heads against the sky might work. These perennials come up every year, 6 ft tall with pink flowers, and very vigorous growth. It would be nice to know what they are !Some of the flowers remain lower down sheltered by a choisea bush.

Shortly after taking this a large flock of winter thrushes flew over. I could hear fieldfares, not so sure whether there were redwings. Winter must be on its way.
