Journey Through Time

Little Hummer

Not a great day for photos. It was cold and snow did arrive, but in our neighborhood, it ended up being a snow shower with nothing sticking on the ground. It turned to rain. In other areas, like the Columbia River Gorge it was another story with snow, icy conditions, the whole Winter Blast thing. Bill had to move one of the bird feeders from a branch that was breaking, to a spot, temporarily, right by our patio door. I did snap a few shots of the little finches that came to the feeder, when the hummer visited this cape fuchsia by our house. I didn't have the camera set to catch a hummer, so this one doesn't even look like it has wings, they are moving so fast. Now you can see how tiny these interesting little birds are. Anna's Hummingbird, by the way.

My aunt is feeling a little better but I am anxious to hear what the doctor has to say. Probably nothing as usually 'tests' have to be done.

We are still eating on the wonderful Middle Eastern food that Joan bought us yesterday. It's still yummy and full of flavor.

Take care everyone.
