Prizegiving

The Dobbie Hall, Larbert, saw the anual prizegiving ceremony for Falkirk Golf Club Young Golfers' section, and I am pleased to say that Cameron was amongst the prize winners.

Not only that, but he gave a short speech where he talked about part of what was done throughout the year in the Club.

This shot was not of Cameron receiving a trophy, but it does show the setup. The kids in the middle are some of the young golfers (parents and friends are mostly out of shot further back). On stage, one of the awards is being presented.

I am very impressed by the work done by the club to support its young golfers. Week in, week out they are there, golfing in whatever conditions the weather gods might throw at them. And the adult helpers are there too, to keep score, to teach etiquette, and to do the million and one other things required to make the club run smoothly.
