Sharp Angles

9.7C starting dull with some fog patches. Brighter through the afternoon. Zephyr.

Dry through the daylight hours today. There is lots of standing water in the nearby fields, at one point pouring out onto the road to the shore. Some road closures due to local flooding in the nearby area.

Maeve the Deerhound and I had our wander round Arbroath harbour around 9am. The lock gate to the inner basin was open but few if any boats had made a move to go out to sea. Waves were running in against the outer harbour wall and splashing over the top.

I liked the sharp angles on the downward view I got of this boat.

After lunch Maeve and I had a two mile walk, down to the shore and round in a loop. Another afternoon of rugby on the telly.
