One of Toronto's traditions is the public skating rink at Nathan Philip's Square in front of city hall. This futuristic rink is crammed with skaters day and night. But with the passing of winter the rink is slowly melting, metamorphosing back to water.

I wandered over after work hoping to take a picture of the last of the ice. I thought the abstract ice and water patterns were beautiful in a stark way.

I don't have an ocean but I do have a rink!

On Nov. 26 I blipped the start of the skating season. Now I've blipped the end!
