Fire in the Sky

Spent some time in the garden this afternoon, tidying up the last of the leaves etc. and I thought I'd got my blip for today when I noticed a very pretty pink rose high up on the garden arch. It looked so incongruous against the yellowing leaves.

However, just as I was about to call it a day in the fading light, the sky was lit up as the sun set. There are too many trees, wires etc in the way to get a really good shot, but it was so beautiful while it lasted. So the sunset beat the rose for today's blip:-)
