LPH - Day Three

Another glorious day here in the Lake District - I had been expecting rain and cold weather and yet it was dry and sunny all day again today.

Today we climbed the mountain above Loweswater which gave us stunning views of both Loweswater and Crummock Water. There were so many beautiful photo opportunities while walking up the mountain of the farms and valley below and when we reached the top the view was even more breathtaking.

Then we headed to the coast near Mawbray to see the oyster beds at Dubmill Point at low tide, and we were lucky enough to have a wonderful sunset while we were there. This is one of the pools of water in the sand and the textures in the sand and sky were amazing.

The photography workshop only finishes on Friday but sadly I am heading home tomorrow due to other commitments that I felt I could not miss. It has been a wonderful visit to the Lakes, surely one of the most beautiful areas in England if not the world! LPH has been fantastic and I can heartily recommend it to any enthusiastic photographer - both the knowledge of the area and of photography imparted by John Gravett and the delicious meals provided by Gail have been a memorable experience.
