Another Day

Conservation

I can't believe the man I met in 1964 is now 70, where have the years gone? Lots of lovely cards this morning and one or two presents, then off round the back to do a bit of bramble clearance in the community orchard. There are just under ninety houses on our isolated patch about half a mile outside the village and four of us turned up. In spite of that we cleared quite a lot, but it is a very big area and it will take a good number of weeks to turn it back to what it was.

This afternoon our son came over with No. 1 grandson. The younger boy as a temperature and is very unwell so he stayed at home with his mum. No. 1 grandson was very good but completely demolished all the Lego JJ had spent weeks building.

Just about to go out to dinner.

Thank you very much for all the lovely comments yesterday and I will try and catch up.
