Just Like New

Today, I caught up with a number of outstanding jobs, including assembling Mrs GOG’s new office chair and reassembling my pinwheel calculator, now repaired, cleaned and lubricated. It runs beautifully smoothly and without any stiffness or unevenness, so it is behaving just like a new machine, however, it still has one or two blemishes on what is basically a very good body and chassis, being some 60 years old.

It was photographed on the draining board, simply because this is the most brightly lit area in both the kitchen and the house; otherwise I would have had to use flash.
