The Bowl of Fire

A super evening. Out with my mate, Dave. First to the Royal Geographical Society for a lecture about a journey by horseback from Outer Mongolia in the east, to Hungary in the west.

Then an epic trudge through the City, down the Commercial Road to the Lahore Kebab House. In my opinion the best curry in the UK. Yes indeed.

They serve the curries in simple bowls. Hence the nickname, The Bowl. There are no airs and graces. Just excellent spicy food.

And you can see in to the kitchen through windows. They are certain working at it.
