Surprise Visitors

The feeder is just
buzzing with activity
that's unexpected

The hummingbirds will have to learn to share. Honeybees have swarmed the feeder in the desert willow tree. I'm not sure if the hummers have been put off by this latest development. We have not had bees around before this week.

It's a very quiet day in the neighbourhood today due to the Thanksgiving holiday. D and I both got in on Black Friday sales online this morning. We will be rubbing our hands with glee when the parcels arrive in the mail.
