First thing

When I walked out of my back door today at 7.55 I enjoyed a sight I hadn't seen from here before - daylight approaching from the east! Until recently the view was blocked by two huge Leyland cypresses which are now but a memory!

Having these removed was a good day's work, but unfortunately a large crack between the two main stems of the maple is a new concern - I couldn't see it before and the tree is right beside the house! What the eye doesn't see . . . . . . . !
