The accidental finding

Monday is boarding-up day

After the excesses of the weekend, shopkeepers often find themselves having to call in a glazier to board up their shop windows or replace broken glass. It was the turn of Tranzform this morning. I was planning to visit them anyway, to drop off some goods. Their shop is connected to the charity called The Door, that runs the youth club that I mentioned in Friday's blip. I go there often, to look out for toys and goods for school.

The building on the left that houses Harriet's and the fairy shop (behind the van) is called the Mediaeval Hall and is said to be the oldest known building in Stroud. It is leased out by Stroud Preservation Trust, who helped save it from demolition about 30 years ago.

Not a great deal else to report today, except that the sun failed to shine at all. We whacked on the cheesy Christmas songs at school playtime, and got stuck into making paper angels. Three members of staff decided that they needed an angel-making book too, and I volunteered to buy them online. Alas! CyberMonday has struck, and there aren't any such books to be had! I'll have to blip an angel, one of these days.
