Enduring the Freezing Northwestern

A day full of old and new confusions. I made a rather early start in order to overcome the aftermath of travelling and meeting again. As usual the day took a different course than expected. First I began implementing my To Do List. Then I found out that for some administrative reason we would have to advance the official date of removal to Karlshafen with half a month. Or delay it unto the second half of January. We decided to move on firmly.

But then followed the consequences. Various procedures have to be put into action quicker than previously forseen. No problem. Just an extra lot of phone-calls, downloads, copying, postings. In short: re-organizing our legal-administrative ties. Nothing special, but altogether new in our lifetime.

Suddenly our new future is getting real in a clear form. As we have just arrived here at sea, it is only to leave again soon. Without the prospect of returning on a frequent basis. That's what we wanted. But now the leaving of our small cosy place gets nearer. Untying our dear bindings and attachments appears to be a new kind of exercise in re-attaching&de-taching again. How can you work that out in an attentive, non-anxious and caring way. In which you may liberate yourself and your loved ones to cope with longer periods of separation.

I may feel confident that we will all find new ways to live this endurance in a positive way. And adjust ourselves to our new future without fixating emotional expectancies. I realize that here again we are engaged in a process of growing up and out of old sojourning paterns into an unknown future.

Like the Young Brown Gull standing bravely in the freezing NorthWestern, I straighten my back and listen deep down into the associating melody of words: ...endearing...&...enduring...brr
