Almost full circle

At lunchtime, I cycled past this field of corn stalks and remembered how, earlier in the year, I blipped the new green shoots and then the tall plants just before harvest. The field will soon be ploughed and planted again with another crop, probably grass for silage. And so the world turns, the seasons pass, and the year is almost ended.
But it's been another lovely cold blue-sky day. And tonight was the college Christmas Ceilidh. Joe and I danced nearly every dance. It was a pleasure.
