New day - new beginnings

Icicles

There is a little house next to mine. Not a regular house with inhabitants, but a small electrical substation. When I was a child, living in the same house as today, the children in the neighbourhood often played ball games that involved this house. One was called "Yfir" (over) and there were two teams on each side of the house, and the teams took turns throwing a small ball over the roof, and then someone in the other team tried to catch the ball. If someone managed to catch the ball he would shout "caught" and then run to the other side of the house, throw the ball and try to hit someone from the other team. The one that got the ball thrown at him (if hit) then had to switch teams, and the team that eventually got more players won the game.

Well probably not the best game description ... but the point is that when I was a child, there were a lot of children in my neighbourhood, and we loved being outside playing games. All kind of games were played and age differences didn't matter at all, everyone was even.
