Emirates Towers

... in gingerbread!!!

This was my early start this morning... welcoming our delegates for a Litigation course as well as an Investigating Fraud in Healthcare seminar. Exciting stuff. Spotted this gingerbread version of the Emirates Towers as well as DIFC gate. This image has been enhanced to bring out the brown of the gingerbread.

A good start to a new week and I got home to evidence of G having been in as the washing up was all done and a meal prepared! She then went off to tutor a kid! And after years of intending to check it out... we finally got to Wafi Rooftop to watch a movie under the stars! It was... interesting. Lots of bean bags spread out and people lounging. The movie itself was rubbish but nice to have the experience, and amazingly, it didn't cost us a single fil*! They're showing The Holiday next week, which I think will be significantly better made than today's offering.

Off on a dhow cruise tomorrow night... for work even! Free dinner. ^^ :)

And I realised this afternoon that all my date buddies forgot 4.12.14 on Thursday. Argh!
