Eider II

Somateria mollissima

Taken in almost exactly the same spot as THIS, in Leith Docks.

A handsome Eider drake.

I think the lading lines on the side of the vessel are for Winter, Summer, Tropical, Freshwater and Tropical Freshwater, but that's an ancient memory, and maybe my hard drive needs de-fragging ;)
