in the city...

versions of reports about the condition in the city are coming in...though the areas affected are all in the old city - where we were for a photowalk y'day evening. one of the reports says that a few months ago, it was a festival of one of the communities and they hung up religious flags all over the place. a few days ago, it was a festival of the other community and they started taking off the old flags that were put up a few months ago, to make space for their new flags. The first community objected to that and then one thing led to another and slowly things took an ugly turn. dont know how true or untrue the report is, but sometimes people do behave in a funny way!
