Sign of the Packhorse

Hannah and I picked up Adam and Theo (Adam had a sleepover) and then the four of us headed out for the day. The mission, a return walk to Sign of the Packhorse and back. I was sure we did this last year, but it was in fact 2 years ago - amazing!

We left the carpark at 11am and around 2 ¼ hours later we arrived at the hut. The kids pretty tired, it's is a steady uphill climb and it was pretty warm. Luckily, the Easter bunny had arrived early and punctuated along the way were numerous chocolate eggs to help waning energy levels ;-)

Then we stopped at the hut for an hour, had a lovely leisurely lunch, hunted out more eggs, then set off home. Left at 2.30, back at the car at 4.15, and weren't particularly slow. I am sure it has to be more than 10km roundtrip than this site says it is. Actually, I think that might be 10km each way ... hmmm.

Home, relax, get ready for Mrs PS to come home tonight. The kids might get a special treat, staying up late and then picking her up at 9.30.

Picture quality? Rubbish isn't it. Why Apple couldn't add a decent camera to an otherwise awesome phone who knows. And then of course it too also stopped working on the way down when I got the best photos of the kids, not having much camera luck at present ... Oh well.

Last night of daylight saving tonight. Winter looming.
