Shadowy passerby

I was really on top of things this morning, and had everything spick and span and ready for the music group over an hour ahead of arrival time. No need to do the swan routine, so, where all appears effortless on the surface but there's frantic paddling underneath.

A good turnout, fab music, great atmosphere: all in all, a really good session.

Most unusually, only two of us went on to the local pub afterwards. We had a good natter over just one well-drawn-out drink while other customers screamed and shouted at the TV and made a fuss over some horse race or other.

After the short walk back home and a quick tidy-up of the aftermath it was time to go back to the shop beside the pub we'd been in earlier. I'd forgotten to but a Lotto ticket, and anyway I needed to get out and do some blipping. I don't know yet if the ticket proved lucky or not, but I do know tat I went to Dollymount strand (tide well out), clicked the shutter over 70 times in half an hour, got back home and have spent far too long pondering what to upload as today's blip.

Time for a bite to eat now, then maybe a bit of telly, then most probably a bit of work. More work tomorrow, no matter how good the weather is. Ah well ...
